HapForce Series

GREWUS developed a new actuator series for haptic feedback: HapForce. Available in 3 different sizes, they can cover all kinds of applications.

The smallest actuator is the HapForce 1. It has small dimensions (12.5 x 12.5 x 20mm) and a low resonance frequency of 65Hz. A good choice for steering wheels or smaller modules with little available installation space.

The HapForce 2 is initially designed for gaming applications. But also for the automotive industry, its high-quality feedback can be utilized. The strongest feedback is generated at 50Hz, but the usable frequency range is much broader. With the dimensions 16.6 x 16.6 x 27mm, it is a good fit for displays or any smart surface.

If the application gets even heavier, the HapForceUlti comes into play. GREWUS’ strongest actuator, with the lowest resonance frequency of 45Hz and dimensions of 20.4 x 31.4 x 46mm, can even vibrate a car seat.

VOICE COIL ACTUATOR IN A DIFFERENT WAY

FUNCTION:

The voice coil actuator converts electrical signals into magnetic force and it consists of the main components: moving mass with magnet, voice coil, springs, housing. When a driving signal is applied to the coil, the mass is moving due to the Lorentz-Force. The vibration is transmitted to the housing and to the application. The moving mass inside the actuator is moving in X-direction.
